In 1984, Jim Henson and Frank Oz made an appearance on television to promote The Muppets Take Manhattan. As usual, they weren't the stars; the Muppets were!
Although this episode was easily forgotten, it's made a resurface through the magical art of DVD'S!
They released a DVD of dozens and dozens of episodes of The Merv Griffin Show recently, and The Muppets episode is on there!!! There's one downside, though: THE WHOLE DVD COSTS 130 DOLLARS!!!!! It's not worth it at all to pay 130 dollars for one episode of The Muppets on a show.

While the list price for this package is $129 but Amazon is selling it right now for $76.45. Yes, quite a bit if your sole interest is in these 11 minutes but there really is a wealth of great material over the course of 44 hours of content.
