Moopet Highlights: Kermoot the Frog

 Another series I'd like to begin on The Muppet Fan is Moopet Highlights, where we highlight all the Moopets. Today, we'll highlight Kermoot the Frog.

That dirty little face seems just plain evil. Although, he isn't really the leader, he sure seems like an evil person. On top of that, he looks absolutely nothing like Kermit. I like to think of him as The Muppets' Constantine. Anyone see the resemblance? Okay? Just me. Anyways, I really like this Moopet. Now, let's set down, relax, and listen to my exclusive interview I had with Kermoot:

TMF: Hello, Kermoot!
Kermoot: Hello, person..
TMF: How did you join with the Moopets?
Kermoot: Uhh.. I think I came to California and saw they were having auditions for Moopets, so I figured I'd audition. We did a couple shows in California, then we went over to Reno, where we found Fozzie Bear.
TMF: Who makes all the evil plans around here?
Kermoot: I DO!!!!
TMF: Ha! I knew it! You do know that I have security cameras rigged all over the place, and that we are going to post this on The Muppet Fan?
Kermoot: Aw! Dang it!
TMF: Okay. While we work this stuff out, please watch this video of an epic explosion:

Well, that interview wasn't very good. Moopet Highlight interviews will be better, next time. Kermoot destroyed Kermit and The Electric Mayhem... But, we did learn 2 things: 1. Kermoot can dress up as Crazy Harry, 2. Kermoot likes to explode things and 3. ( the most important thing) Kermoot is the evil mastermind behind The Moopets. Well, what do you know? The Greatest Muppet Videos of YouTube that We Would Have Never Heard of Otherwise!

It's that time again! Let's get ready for The Greatest Muppet Videos on YouTube That We Would Have Never Heard of Otherwise!!!! I really like YouTube, for the reason that we have so much in the archives of Jim Henson, some that are really brilliant and neat that we would have never seen, because they haven't been released on DVD. Now, let's get on  with the videos!

That's a neat one: Jim Henson's final appearance on television. It was shot on May 9th ( ?) 1990, and it features Kermit, Jim Henson, Kevin Clash, Clifford, and Arsenio Hall. In this video, they discuss Kermit's love life, and The Muppets at Walt Disney World.

Speaking of The Muppets at Walt Disney World, here it is! Loving Muppets and Disney World, this is kind of Muppet heaven for me. The Muppets are going to Kermit's old swamp where he grew up, but they find out Disney World is in the backyard, so they all go to Disney World, instead!

Usually, I stay clear of this one, but it's such a rarity, so why don't I include it? It's from Jim Henson's memorial, and if you're a huge Muppet fan, it'll make you cry...... a lot. There's some songs they sing that make me laugh, but others that make me really sad. So, why don't you give it a watch?

Ta- dahhh! The Jim Henson Hour. Not only can you find this episode of The Jim Henson Hour on YouTube ( this one is my favorite), you can find all of them! This one is my personal favorite, because who doesn't like Jim Henson explaining the secrets of the Muppets?

That clip from Sam and Friends is a great one. It deserves to be on this list really bad, because it's one of Jim Henson's early work. In this one, Kermit and Harry are discussing visual thinking. Harry is a pro at it.
