Disney Drive-On with The Muppets episode 1 review

Hi-ho, Muppet fans! This is The Muppet Fan, back with a new post! Alright, so, yesterday, I posted a  whole Muppety year of review!! One of the things that was under mentioned was Disney Drive-On starring The Muppets, which was a 6-episode series made by Disney starring Walter and Pepe. I liked this series, so I figured I would review the episodes, starting with episode 1:
So, the whole idea of this is that Walter, a Muppet Studios intern, is " helped" by Pepe when Pepe is in a meeting with Kermit and Kermit leaves. When Walter is trying to sell business cards for Pepe, he accidentally falls into the Disney animation studio and meets Oscar-winning Martin Landau!
One of the best parts in this is two monkeys that are trying to plan ideas for a new Muppet movie, but are failing, but they don't know that!
I also like the recurring joke of Pepe calling Walter " Howard" and Walter explaining that it's not his name, but Pepe still calls him that anyways.
Also, it's fantastic they brought Bill Barretta in because he makes awesome contributions, including
the characters Pepe, Bobo, and Big Mean Carl, who eats a poor little bunny...
It's interesting to note that this was made during the year 2012, because of the obvious " Wreck-It Ralph" reference shown, which seems annoying at some times when you watch the video.
Also, there's a awesome appearance by Kermit the Frog, who in a short time gets taken over by Pepe.
When Walter tries to sell business cards that are made by Pepe, the results are funny because absolutely nobody will buy them except for surprisingly Martin Landau!
There's an awesome cameo by Martin Landau, who is in the recording studio when Walter comes in to his surprise and meet him!! Walter accidentally records his line, and it's a wrap for Martin Landau, who says, " Well, if it's a wrap, it's a wrap!" Then, there's over-long credits ( nothing new, in our day) and it's the end!
This episode is funny and fun, and everything you would want in a first episode. If only we could get an episode like this for the Muppet interstitial show in 2015... but, let's not talk about that!
The funniest gag in this is probably when Pepe is announced to help Walter, and Pepe hands Walter the business cards, and there's about 12 seconds of silence, then Pepe yells at Walter, " NOW, GO!!!"
I would rate this episode a 9.5 out of a 10, and join me tomorrow when I review the episode number 2 of Disney Drive-On Starring The Muppets!
